Pareidolia is an ongoing project by Artist photographer Pascal Goet. He scouts the nature world in its hidden microscoping realm, and looks for the extracordinary, the abstract shape that will make us look at his unierse with new eyes. Pareidolia is the tendency to perceive a specific, often meaningful image in a random or ambiguous visual pattern. The scientific explanation for some people is pareidolia, or the human ability to see shapes or make pictures out of randomness. Going through museum, institutions and private and museum collections he looks for gems, rock, insects, flowers he looks for these shapes that will make us discover a whole new world.
