This spring, Paul Hughes takes over Manhattan with a double presentation of his abstract paintings. "I am here & I am unwaiting," currently on view at the Irish Arts Center, marks his institutional debut in the USA, and he is also a key feature of our Chelsea gallery exhibition, Land, Sea, Sky: Contemporary European Landscapes.

As Paul Hughes is in the city this week, we invite you to the gallery this Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:00 PM for an informal and lively gathering in true Irish spirit—chat with Paul, take in the art, and enjoy a great night! Gallery owner Nicolas Auvray will lead a conversation with the artist about his inspirations and creative journey.

Paul’s solo exhibition in the celebrated cultural institution on view through June 28th at the Irish Arts Center, showcases medium and large-scale painting inspired by the landscapes, seas, skies, and light of Ireland.
